Trent Perez

Trent Perez is an Associate Actuary at Principal Financial Group in Des Moines, IA. Since joining the company in 2017, he has worked in modeling and ALM functions before moving into his current role in in-force management for disability and life products.

Trent became involved with OLA in 2020 through recruiting for Principal. He joined the leadership team in 2023 as an OLA Academy Program Manager, a role he continues to love. He is passionate about supporting prospects and helping them find their path.

A graduate of the University of Iowa, Trent is a dedicated Hawkeye fan and lifelong Iowan. After spending a summer in the NYC area, he fell in love with travel and now explores as often as possible. His other hobbies include trying new restaurants, enjoying drinks with friends, and going to the movies.
