Sarah Peña, FSA

Sarah Peña is an Actuary on the Annuity Financial Reporting team at Nationwide Financial. She began her career in Nationwide’s actuarial development program, gaining experience across annuity pricing, modeling, and quantitative risk management. She later spent three years in Annuity Valuation, focusing heavily on the liability side of the balance sheet. In her current role, she leads reporting and forecasting for fixed, fixed indexed, and immediate annuity products.

Sarah joined the Organization of Latino Actuaries (OLA) as a student member in 2017 and has remained an active volunteer. She currently serves on OLA’s Board of Directors as the Director of Corporate Engagement.

Sarah is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, a Member of the Academy of Actuaries, and holds a B.S. in Financial Actuarial Mathematics from UCLA. Originally from Las Vegas, she now resides in New York City.
